Use of personal data collected on the site

The site Cook Self Service implements personal data processing aimed to ensure communication and the exchange of information with users so to ensure the vitality of the site. This processing also allows for:

Destination of personal data collected on the site

The data collected through the newsletter and discussion forums are intended for the exclusive use of the technitian in charge of the site.

The data collected through the contact form is intended for those responsible of processing your request within our team.

Our visitors’ IP addresses, their connections and information regarding their browser is collected by Google Inc. and processed on servers located in the U.S. This information is likely to be disclosed or given to third parties that process such data on behalf of Google Inc. and may be located outside the European Union.

With the exception of our visitors’ IP addresses, personal data collected through the site Cook Self Service are for internal use only, and are not subject to any communication, transfer or disclosure to third parties.

Safeguarding of personal data collected on the site

Cook Self Service keeps personal data to allow the functionalities related to the contact form for a period of two years.

Personal data entered upon registration to the forums is retained for four years, the deleting procedure requiring a specific process.

The data collected through the "send to a friend" feature is deleted immediately and is not retained.

Cook Self Service guarantees the confidentiality of the information stored on the site. The addresses and personal data of registered users do not appear unless the user wishes to sign his contribution to a forum or comment an article in the message body, or if he chose his own name as an identifier on the discussion forums’ platform.

Right to access, modify and delete

In accordance with Law No. 78-17 on "Information Technology and Freedom" of January 6, 1978, personal data collected by Cook Self Service on its site has been declared to the CNIL, and registered under file number 756532.
