is it possible to be able to change the name of the incremental field (ID)?

for some project, I have to integrate an admin to an already done database. and sometime, bad developper give some weird name to the incremented field and most of time we cant refactor the database for X raison.

So it will be nice to be able to choose the name to give to that field.

It is not possible to change name of ID field in the database.

It will be possible in future.
I am currently working on this.

And too... If it is posible, allow column field name in capital letters, for example "ArtistName", cook, change to "artistname" automatically. I'm trying to make a proyect in cook, and connect this to external Db using the identical fields and properties to tables.

It is possible? I can't rename my table fields, is a project in production. But when I make a copy of individual table and rename fields to make a test, the cook component work fine! Only I need to wait to Cook allow a rename id field, and capital letters in all fields.

I thought you can change the field name to include capitals after it is saved for the first time
as for the ArtistName im sure in the the past i have done it this way

- create field name
- save the field
- cook changes it to lowercase
- edit the field name
- adjust field name using upper case where needed
- save the field again
