Hello all,

is there a way to save a changed (via drag and drop) table order?
I would like to have a particular order of the tables (in the tables view) for grouping related tables together and to structure the menus of the component in the backend.
Every time i reopen the project, all my tables are in the order of the time they were created (first created table on top, last created table at bottom).
I tried to refresh the file list before closing, changed the component version number and things like this, but i dont get the order of the tables to be saved.
I know this is only a change for usability, but it would help me a lot at presenting the component to editors, clients and the head of business.

Thank you

BTW: a really great piece of software!

If you drag and reorder your tables in the editor, it has no effect all all for the moment.

I understand that you want to reorder your tables to have effect on the backend menus.
This is not supported yet. You should manually reorder in the manifest file (XML) and in the main back controller (mycomponent.php)

The menus management are on the roadmap.
Coding is now a piece of cake
