Have set a field link in my admin collection layout to an in context item layout

for example
Books collection layout -> bookname is linked to the book item layout
- the field data is displayed in the collection layout
- the link is not displayed
- no link displayed even if task/action property to edit rather than specifying a layout

- also when using link to foreign also no link displayed

the only way to edit an item is to check the check box and select edit from the tool bar

I've just opened the same case... I just realized that yesterday there was a maintenace operation on the JCOOK framework about 6pm...
this is when I've start to see the problem..
I suspect JCOOK maintenance having broken something...
Admin guys can you check twice ??? ...

Sorry for inconvenience. The units tests are so long for each changements.

I promise you when the V2.0 will be released, ther will not be anymore such collateral damages.
In this case it is due to a big changement in JDom.

I must continue to go on with the V2 and when you ask to correct an issue, sometimes you get some code from V2.0 wich is interracting.

Have been using this tool for a while and can see for every collateral damage that we experience from time to time there is at least 3 more positive improvements.

i have seen some ask why it is not checked and double checked... For those of you that seem to get upset with collateral damages next time you get upset with collateral damages ask yourself this question

1) how many times do you build a component that works perfectly as indended the first time?

Collateral damage is inevitable in the programming world without it there would be no improvement

This service provides us with constant improvements and issues are fixed quickly what else can we ask for
