I apply my project changes into Cook2.5.

In the SANDBOX, New Item OK, but SAVE function gives error :

Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /home/cook/sites/www.j-cook.net/public_html/sandbox/cms25/administrator/components/com_demo9139/classes/controller/item.php on line 650
Error : Call to a member function get() on a non-object

Project : HPC7000
Table: virtual_machins
Layout : Machine Virtuelle.

New Item, and Save ...

Could you check file 'item.php ', please.

Just Created a new project Cook 2.5 [BETA-TESTS]

Project: test
one table -> new table
two fields -> my_string and my_string2

Save a new record and i got the following

1.6 - build

Hope it helps a little with locating issue
