Dear Cook support

Thanks for a really nice product, I donated instantly when I saw it, this is really a great feature for Joomla.

These are my questions:

How can allow users to create an entry only with their own name added? If I add 'Joomla user -> name' the user will be able to pick any name in the dropdown for the entry.

How can I allow users only to edit their own entries? I've tried to play around with the permissions, but I can only seem to get it editing all entries or no entries - I've done this with two different user groups.

Welcome on behalf of the community to J-Cook Pro.

Yours is a common question that is often asked in the Forums.

The answer is that this functionality is not yet available within J-Cook. Please search the Forum for Joomla User and you will see what I mean. We do believe that it is on the 'to do' list (or Roadmap) so I know that it will happen.

I figured that out afterwards, I was just so sure that this was a feature already - This is in my opinion the most relevant feature in the COOK entire system.

I'll donate some money as soon as we see this feature, as I'm stuck with any project idea in the meanwhile.

Hello Edward and ahv...

When ever I see something cook can not do, I add these feature manualy... in your cases, what I do, is when the component is generated by cook builder, I change the select option to hidden field getting the user that is editing or creating to compare it later to see if that user has the permission to edit that specific item.
