The default Joomla list supports to select multiple values. It would be great, if this could also be done with your Enumeration type.
If multiple values would be saved comma-separated, then the MySQL set-type would also work with it.

This way also a checkbox-group should be possible, because you already have a radio-group as control for an enumeration-field.
