What is the real reason to remove the "tools" from the JED?
I don't see any good reason except a possible interest by someone.

Yes, Cook has been unlisted by this reason.
I have been alerted by mail, so I already knew.
Thank you very much anyway for your monitoring and alerting. I could eventually miss it because I am not checking every day the JED.

I have re-edited the profile page, but I do not know how to change category. They have placed me in Tools, and now I disappear.
Hoping for this to be fixed soon.

Cook is still Low-Profile service (for geeks). Because the product is not accomplished and without documentation, and many obligated features such as FoF and N:M

I don't understand why they removed the "tools" category from the JED, it seems to me, someone was disturbed by the J-cook service, so it was convenient to remove the category and its content. The J-Cook was the ONLY relevant item listed.

I would not make such accusation. I think it is only a technical problem. Waiting for answer.

I'm a bad thinking boy :) .

Well... who is in charge of control, sometimes (OFTEN in the politics) abuse of the power he/she has.........and this is not an absurd conspiracy theory, unfortunately that's the pure truth.

.....but yes, certainly I'm wrong on this situation, probably it's only a technical problem......but the doubts come automatically on my mind.

But it is possible that with the new politic, Cook will not re-enter the JED.
JED has now restricted the available products to only : Components, Modules, Plugin, Languages pack.
I would like to know the motivation, for sure. And I am not contesting anything, but it is nice to know the reason of this choice to restrict references.

If somebody knows...
