Guess this is the very first component you install on a fresh joomla install.
I just feel there's a need for more explanations or a demo, just to understand exactly what i could do. Example, if i hack the com_contact, will it appear too ? or should i first choose with com_ it will follow ?

I tried to get your component with your component code and got a 100% discount code. However, I was redirected to paypal, who didn't accept a payment of 0$, so I tried changing it to 0.01. That went through. When I returned to your site I couldn't download anything and my orders said: You have no orders yet

Also the flow of adding to cart - need to register - validate email - add to cart once again - pay is not optimal. You should consider loosing the validation part, and perhaps look at mijoshop as an alternative to virtuemart?? It's an opencart based solution and it's very powerfull.
