I always use proper instance names for my bricks, but when I exports a project today instances are now called

(table)_form_1.php
(table)_form_2.php

where table is the name of the table

instead of carrying the names of the instances. The labelling is still ok in the views, but the file names are all wrong. I have confirmed my instance names are still in the builder

For me it is working...

Witch PTL ?
Did you defined the name in the 'alias' property of each brick ?

it has been a while now. this feature is not working for me as well.
the brick alias is not working.
the templates in the view folder are still named: "...form1, form2, form3, etc. etc....." or "...fly1, fly2, fly3,....etc.etc "

even if I gave a name to those bricks.

I will do a bit more research. The project giving the most grief is probably the oldest one on there (funeral). I always create an alias and a label for all my bricks

I have not tried with a new project.

To be honest, not using a proper naming convention actually saved me a bit of time, just makes customisation of forms with lots of bricks a bit less friendly

I've just made a new project to check if this issue is releated only to old projects, but it is not working as well on this new project. so I guess the problem is in my account or somewhere else in the jcook code, please check the latest project I've made.
thanks
