I have worked with Joomla for several years and done a lot of crazy things within the Joomla Framework. I have a number of component projects that I wanted to do but never had the time. And then a client contacted me to set something up for him.

Anyhow, I found this system and actually played around with it for 4 or 5 hours last night. Yeah, I was probably slow compared to most of you guru's out there but I was in no hurray! I just about had the component complete except for some fine tuning and I decided to turn in for the night!

I came back this morning and all that is left of the component I started on is just the empty project file. I know I saved my work regularly while doing it....force of habit! But there is nothing there this morning, yet everything I downloaded in the sandbox was still there.

I haven't paid for the membership yet because I was just testdriving it. I do intend to pay for it as I can see it will serve as a great tool for me. But I was wondering if anyone can shed some light onto this. Does the projects dissappear after so many hours of inactivity? Even if this is so, I find it weird that the empty project folder would be still there and yet no content within.

Please shed some light on this.

Your 2 projects are there.

May you speak about the sandbox ?
Yes, the sandbox is flushed every night.

But nothing is lost.
Just regenerate.
Coding is now a piece of cake

No, I am not talking about the Sandbox. I am talking about the main building area. And now it has happened twice to me. As soon as I leave it to go to bed at night, it looses everything in my folders by morning. But the folder is still there!

I had the second component started and everything was pretty much done......it took me all day and well after midnight it done. I Just woke up now to check it and everything is gone and all that is left is an empty folder. I can't bear to start all over again.

I even paid for 6 months worth to find out if that would help. No......samething happened this morning. Has anyone else had this happen?

Please help!

Topic continued here...
It's not been resolved as such but, from chatting to @whispiri, it would seem that she has been experiencing a lot of latency with the builder loading - even not loading properly - so, it infact appears as if the contents of her projects don't exist.

Has anyone else experienced this?

We managed to rule out interference from manually inserted JS breakpoints in Dev tools as she hasn't yet tried to debug the console. I have suggested that if the problem persists that she should look in the js console for errors/breaks but in the meantime, does anyone know of any possible causes for this?

Also, FYI last message suggested that she'd managed to successfully access the project.

Many thanks,

Gez

I am experiencing a similar problem, my project is there but no tables or pages. If I run it in the sandbox it is definnetly there. Also in the project files I can still see the graphical representation of the tables.

Any Ideas?

I waited nearly 10 minutes, refreshed the screen and it all appeared. Seems to be a latency problem??
