It depends how heavy it is.

The points are calculated for each element you drag'n drop.

The more you compose your project, the more it increase the points. After 200 pts, you start to pay.
If you compose a new project, it start again to 0 (It is not a minimal by user, but a minimal by project)

Once you paid your project (download), you can download it as many times as you want.
When you change your project and add functionalities, you pay only what is added.

  • Each element has a number of points, depending of the complexity of the functionality.
  • Properties are totaly free. Does not interract with the price, so you can change them as you want to make your tries.
  • 200 pts represents around 3 tables with 10 fields, back-end layouts, some front-end views.

During the creation of your component, you can check the number of points, clicking of the 'Refresh file list' button, or to the 'Download' button.

The number of points you pay is given in the "Last changes" line.

Hello,

I have now 3 projects going averaging 120 points each making 360 total. As I understand the free points limit is 200 points per project, so I am still within the free project boundaries.

Now, if all 3 projects exceed the 200 points limit, do I have to buy extra points for every single project, or are the points I buy used for all 3 projects.

So if the projects use up 220, 250 and 300 points, do I need to buy 200 points or 3x200 points = 600 points?
Thanks for clarifiying.

What happens when I exceed 200 points? Am I prompted to pay right away?

If your component overs 200pts, you pay all the points including the 200 first pts.

Are you planning to changing your pricing model any soon? I find this very useful, but the price is bit steep for me at the moment. Are there any discounts available? I am glad if I can purchase a weekly subscription for a reasonable amount. Many thanks

Thanks a lot for this really interesting information.

I think that will be helpful for the web service to develop itself to get a more easy to read offer.

I also have some other things to discuss directly with you. Can you contact me by mail ?

Thanks for the great service you offer.

Regards.

how do you deal with the people who are already purchased points or a complete unlimited plan?

I'm exactly on the same case of foo42. I don't want to buy a full time account and then have to wait almost 3 years to get all my account done :)

I'm working on a project right now, I need about 1200 points to get it finished. The topic is I'm working on an alpha component that won't be developped if I can't do a demo this week and I don't want to pay 149€ as in few days the memberships will change.

Can you help for that ?

On a base of 50€/month, the remaining months for those accounts wil be multiplicated by 10.

If it remains 2 months on your account, it will be extended 18 months more (20 months in total).

I am infintly grateful for those great accounts and this offer is to my opinion the only possibility for such transition. It is question of ethic.
Cook Self Service will never cheat you.

So if you want to subscribe an account now, consider it will cover a 10 times longer period.
If you subscribe for gold or platinum, it is much more advantage for you because Platinum is not a 50€/month, but after transition it will be extended as well 10 times.
(In future, there will not be anymore discount for long plans period. 4.95€ for everyone even if you subscribe for 24 for example.) So if you subscribe now, you can take advantage of a nice discount and sign for a very long period.
Cook is just at the beginning and will not end tomorrow !!

As I mentioned before on this forum, I do all my best, even if I apalogize for some blocking issues take time to be resolved.

Best regards.
Jocelyn.

Thanks for your quick reply.

The idea I proposed is : what about increasing the credits value for the "small" accounts (200 points, 500 points and 1000 points to 500 / 1500 / 3000 => that's only an idea :p). I mean like a special "discount" before you prepare the global change of your offer.
