Project : catjoo

Hi,

I don't understand why some combo or date picker are not visible in the filter section of the backoffice layout. The behavior is the same in the sandbox and in my dev web site.

For example :
Table : Event - Layout : Events : the date picker is not visible.
Table : Object - Layout : objects : one of the combobox is missing
Table : Category - Layout : categories : the combobox is not visible.

Did I miss something ?

Thanks in advance,
Best regards,

Fred

I checked again. Same behavior in Sand box and in real world...

Did somebody encounter the same problem ?

Thanks in advance,
Best regards,

the funny thing is for this layout : "Table : Object - Layout : objects : one of the combobox is missing"

in previous version of the component I had the 2 combobox. I don't understand why one is missing now...

Thanks in advance,
Best,

Fred

Hi,

New test today... All the same except for :
Table : Event - Layout : Events : the date picker
...which is now visible.

which is now visible.... But some comboboxes are still missing...

Do I miss something or there is some inconstancy in the framework ?

I use Joomla 2.5. In the sandbox, behavior is the same with 2.5 and 3.0.

Thanks in advance to tell me if my only solution is to edit the code manually... I 'd love to avoid this for the backoffice just for this.

Best regards,

Fred

Hi Admin,

Thank you for answering. I guess you might be very busy.

For the missing combo, I could not wait any longer so I have edited manually the code.

Anyhow, if it is a bug, it really need to be fixed sometimes. This inconsistency feeling is very disturbing.

Best regards,

Fred

I simply have recreated the filters.

It can happens sometimes when you haved deleted and recreated related fields of FK.
In this case : recreate.

EDIT : I have recreated only for the 'object' table, layout 'objects'
Coding is now a piece of cake

As fas as I remember, I recreated the filter section twice before writing the post... Maybe not with your talent... ;=)

There is something odd out there. I hope you will have time to fix it soon.

Fred
