Hi All
I have an application I am developing in Joomla 2.5, in which I am having problems getting a link to a specific record working. I have a frontend collection view which I need the user to click on the item and the link should take it through to the item screen. However I can't configure the properties. When I click on the field properties in the collection screen, I click the create link box and then go to select the task/action drop down and select edit then I go to Layout and select the layout (which is the item view) the problem is the task/action dropdown clears itself and then if I go back to select task/action the layout clears itself. When I then save and run it in the sandbox I get a 500 error.

To make sure there wasn't something else causing the problem. I created a stand alone application wwith just two fields in it and these two views.

What am I doing wrong ?

Thanks in anticipation

PTL please. (Project / Table / Layout)

1. Try to instance the toolbar, with an edit task. Then you will remove it in your template.

2. Try also to set 'Maximum features' in the configuration.
