I have an email field included in my table and on a front-end form layout. The email field is not exported to the /site/models/form/myform.xml.

The field is however included in the /models/mymodel.php.

Thank you.

Also, I cannot fork my JForms xml.

I copied /site/models/form/employee.xml to /site/fork/models/form/exmployees.xml and added the email field in and it is not displayed.

I added the field to the un-forked employee.xml and it was displayed as expected.

Email field is fixed already.

I've made a try on you form file and I think the only reason why it does not work for you is because :
you need to choose the 'Condensed' form type.

If you have used 'Exploded', the you need to fork also the tmpl form file to add your field.
That's it.
Coding is now a piece of cake
