I just wondered whether anyone could share any of their knowledge on how to create a custom JDom class.
Specifically, I need to create an abstraction layer to use an ajax data-grid instead of the default grid and in all honest, I have no idea where to begin. I intend to implement a data-grid called OpenJSGrid - a jQuery/PHP/AJAX grid that allows inline editing of table rows. The grid itself has a php class, a whole bunch of jQuery methods and can handle complex queries to join data from other tables simply.
The biggest problem for me at the moment is working out exactly how to abstract all of the calls and methods on the grid in a JDom class as the structure of the JDom files/folders has changed drastically since I last looked at it a fairly long time ago now.
BTW, I did mention this in another post a while back but it's not until now that I've got around to looking at it! For more info on OpenJSGrid, please see my other post here: www.j-cook.pro/forum/7-design-your-appli...ith-data-entry-#4421 See OpenJSGrid in action: OpenJSGrid Site (Updated since my last post as they've released version 2.0): square-bracket.com/openjs
Any help would be massively appreciated.
Many thanks,
Gez
