When adding a component to a Front End menu, specifying a Browser Page Title or Page Heading has no effect on the displayed page, showing only the values from the component instead of the specified values of the Menu Item.
The administrator has disabled public write access.

I don't understand - add what and add where. Not familiar with the term "XMP config".

Perhaps you misunderstood my question. Whatever the component may specify for Page Display Options can be overridden in Joomla when the menu item is created. When creating the menu item, an admin can specify "Page Display Options" on the right hand area under "Link Type Options". These overrides should be used when displaying the page instead of the component's values.
