Hi

I'm really looking forward to V2.0 so I thought I'd ask what's the expected ETA? I read on some other post about 1 - 2 weeks - is that still to be expected?

And another thing - I'm "cooking a component" in V1.5. What will happen to that when V2.0 arrives? Will it just build on the new version, or do I have to start all over?

Have a nice day!!!

Move from 1.5, It is not anymore supported and not guaranteed.

There will not be any inprovements in 1.5, so download it and work on it locally because the 1.5 button will disappear.

And be careful, because if you change to the 2.5 version, you cannot anymore click back to the 1.5 version button. It is locked now.

Versions improvements are frustrating for everybody (even me), but it is necessary. The law of evolution !!

Joomla is becoming really good with such improvemnts and Joomla V3.0 is really amazing !!! (release in september)

I think you misunderstood me - by V1.5 I mean Cook V1.5 - the component I'm working on is based on Joomla 2.5.
Any news on ETA of Cook 2.0 ?

Excuse me, I am confusing !!

It is coming next week I think.
I am physically moving my office, so I hope to be in time.

Let's say first week of september more or less.
It will be a beta, because not all is finished and well-tested but it is coming for lovers who want to have a try.

It it here, in the corner.

You'll get the beta tomorrow, or after tomorrow.

I am closed in office (with coffee of course), and I will stay and sleep here until V2.0 is released.

Give me some encouragements !!

I have been using Cook for only a day now and it is the next best thing to Jagermeister. It is very easy to use and I see some of the greatest Joomla Components ever! coming from Cook users.
