Please help, all the work in my cook account dissappears by morning. I am NOT talking about the sandbox.

I now have two projects that have empty folders now. All tables have dissapeared. All pages have dissappeared now. Yes, I have saved everything as I went. It's got to be somewhere if the folders still exist. But they contained nothing. I made the last adjustments and "saves" this morning at about 3 am my time and now at 8 am they are gone after going to sleep for a few hours. I thought I would download it when I got up. But the whole thing is gone but the original folder which is now empty.

I know you flush the sandbox but for some reason the whole account is being flushed too. It happened yesterday too. And that folder is still sitting there on my account empty.

I am desperate. Please help.

Hi there,

I think that what you are experiencing is simply that when you launch your projects, they initially look empty until you click the folder icon for a given project. This in-turn should launch/open all of your tables. Similarly, all of your tables will then be 'closed' so you will need to open each of them to see their fields and access their views/layouts.

Does that work?

Nope......I have clicked on the projects folders (both project folders) several times and there is nothing. It can't open something that is not there! It is like they are empty!

Can you screen cast it or maybe take some screenshots?

I've not experienced this or anything like it ever.

I can do a print screen but I will try to upload the picts to my website so you can look. Give me a few minutes

BTW - how are you saving it?

I wasn't aware there was an actual function to save. Cook saves automatically after each operation.

Try flushing your cache and active sessions and re-login if you've not done so already.

I just click beside each table/file or folder on the pencil at each level and a little save icon comes up. It was working all day yesterday.

I will try and flush the cache, I have reset my cookies and nothing so far. Please stand by!

As far as I'm aware, hovering over cook elements (projects, tables & fields etc) to access the edit and subsequent save buttons only edits the element's title, not the object. Saving is taken care of automatically and although I certainly did do that when i first began using cook, it isn't necessary.

No, clearing my cache has not worked. There is still nothing in those folders.

When you get in to the builder, what do you see? A list of projects?

Ok, in your first screenshot, have you loaded the ensuremd project or the InsureExam project?

I had tried loading both. Ensuremd project was yesterday's.....still empty. So I started a new file....the insureExam1. Now Either file has nothing in it! I had clicked on both, hence both file now look open.

Wait a minute......All of a sudden, something is working again. I kept clicking and re loading before and nothing would load. I left the browser for a few minutes and now all of a sudden I just clicked now and the projects began to load again. And both projects are loading. I am not sure what I did that is different because I clicked on them in the same way! But this time they decided to open.
