Hi @admin,

Just tried changing it as suggested but still nothing...

Any thoughts?

Anything from my last posts?

Many thanks,

OK, Got it working!!! :woohoo:

This was probably the most simple yet difficult to find fix - mostly due to my error!!!

Of course, if Joomla had their docs sorted for 2.5 this would have been straight forward. Anyway...

Here's the fix...

Contrary to that in J1.5 syntax for calling the login function like
onLoginUser(...)
In J2.5 you MUST USE
onUserLogin($user, $options)

That's it!

Follow the original post with this small change (should be reflected there by the time you read this)...

Many thanks @admin for your time looking into this!!!

Very relieved!

I just can't believe that J can make such a fundamental, un-documented change - and, for no apparent reason...

If only I could afford to pay myself 250 euros for it! ;)

Thanks @admin!

Although I found this tool some time ago I just started learning experimenting and building this first component on Monday and now on Thursday afternoon it's already online. Although I already had a working version done with another tool this is much easier to build and at the end you have the freedom to own your own component. Once you know how to use Cook you will boost your productivity as the learning curve is really moderate compared to many other tools.
