i came across the same issue using v2.0 beta:

i got a text field, an image picker and a text area in my form, when i select an image it won't display in the preview and save also won't work.

there are no JS errors thrown, I also tried to play around with features (reduced, maximum) and form styles (condensed, exploded) - no difference.

any help would be much appreciated.

EDIT: I guess j-cook.pro/forum/32-trouble-shooting/208...vs-image-picker#2084 is the reason ... - instead of a rich text field I used a normal text area and it is working now.

This is a Joomla issue.

It is not possible to play with com_media.
Only one instance call be instancied in a page.
