Styling the toolbar? 23 Dec 2016 00:43 #14868

Where if anywhere could I set the style of the toolbar, rather than it be determined by the Joomla template?

Hello.
I know that this subject is very old now, but if you still need it...
you can create your own toolbar and add the class you want on the buttons. a bit like this :
<div class="btn-toolbar">
				<div class="btn-group">
				<button type="button" class="btn btn" onclick="return Joomla.submitform('TASK.cancel');">
					<span class="icon-cancel"></span><?php echo JText::_('COMPONENT_JTOOLBAR_CANCEL') ?>
				</button>
					</div>
					<div class="btn-group">
					<button type="button" class="btn btn-success" id="buttonSave" onclick="Joomla.submitbutton('TASK.save')">
						<?php echo JText::_('COMPONENT_JTOOLBAR_SAVE') ?> <i class="icon-arrow-right"></i>
					</button>
				</div>
			</div>

dear jonathan
sorry for my response time. Lots of work and no time here
You can do this with any of these:
Cancel : TASK.cancel
Save : TASK.apply
save & close : TASK.save
new : TASK.add

you can even create custom tasks

Just wanted to congratulate you on the J-Cook website / web development tool. In a couple of visits I've had a play around with Cook and have to say I think it is fantastic.  I've played with a number of component builders in the past and yours is certainly looking like the best so far. I'd also like to help you spread the word - I'm really surprised more people aren't excited about this tool. Good luck with the project.
