Save to copy is not working properly.

Also when we click on the save to copy should it not copy with the word copy on the title.This issue creates a problem when the title is marked as unique and we try to to click on the copy as it is failing with a duplicate message.

Can I check your component please ?
Because for me it works correctly.

If the field is 'Unique', then the error message raises if the field has not been renamed before to copy.
I didn't saw the word 'Copy'. I mean I don't even remember I have coded this.

Sometimes it is boring to have to code all this things that Joomla should be able to handle by itself.
It would be great to check if your issue is cook problem, or Joomla problem.

Can you tell me wich project and I will have a look.

My Project is "Master" and the table is Test.

I had already created a row with title called "TEST".Now go to this record and click on Save to Copy.It will throw the duplicate error.

Expected Behaviour as in Standard Joomla articles

Go to the "TEST" row.Click on the save to copy button, it should create with a title "Copy of TEST" and save it.

Ok I just have tested.

Everything is normal because this feature is not handled yet.

I can try to achieve it as soon as I can.
