Would be wonderful to be able to upload our own icons for component tables / views OR have a drop down in the settings for the tables that will allow the short code for the bootstrap ICOMOON (or is it FONT AWESOME) shortcode.

Also on a macro level would be nice to upload an icon for the component as a whole

Lol, yes, I know...

Patience. I still don't propose it now, because it will be even greater...
It will take time to me, but for Images, Icons and regex, I am designing a shared and crowd sourced collaborative library picker. I mean, everyone will have its own libraries of assets, and for every item of the library, you will be able to share it for the others users or not.

So this way, the regex library will make its comeback, but after the manual admin validation.
For this feature, I ask you some more patience, and this is why I didn't wanted to write that part yet for icons/images because it is gonna be a complete system of different types of assets. Shut don't tell it to anybody it will be a surprise.
Oh shit, everybody can read this post....
Coding is now a piece of cake

For starters it's just so easy to design an app in a way that I'm used to i.e. database first then views followed by customization. The fork system is pure brilliance from a developer standpoint as I can override things and still add and update my projects with minimal effort! Truly amazing to be able to build components in Joomla using incremental refinement without having to do everything by hand. Thanks for the great tool! I am so much more productive now than ever and I can't imagine building components any other way!!!!
