CSS Styling and Component built in templating. 23 Dec 2016 00:54 #14869

Hi Chef, Merry Christmas.. Just a crazy thought. Any chance at some stage a built in styling module or similar could be added to JCook? Say a built in style sheet or similar that can be edited in JCook and that divs, blocks , toolbox etc css calls can access. This way we could develop some of the look and feel of our components within JCook and view the results in the sandbox.

Anyhow probably far fetched idea, but ya don't get what you don't ask for.

Keep well and have a great Christmas and fantastic new year..

Cheers

Jonathan

I jumped and started to work on a demo component... but 2 days later this demo component became the real component. I just showed today the end result to my customer and he turned to me and said... "this is more than I expected"... All of this is because Cook did cut about 70% of my work and provided me more ways to improve the usability of the component. The end result was 17 tables all related between than to generate a full dashboard for the travel agents. Thanks for Cook developers for such great tool. This component would not be possible to be done at short time with all the features in it
