Admin: Ordering of submenu links 22 Feb 2012 09:53 #1429

Hi all,

How does one dictate the order of the submenus in the administration side of your component? By submenu, I dont just mean the expanding submenus from the components menu; I also mean the submenu tabs you see in each view!

I have 5 tables and 5 list/edit views; 3 of which are clsoely related and a further 2 are seperately related. I'd like to group them next to each other.

Of course I can manually edit the files when I download my component but was wondering of we had any means to specify an order from the Cook interface?

Best regards,
Kris...

I jumped and started to work on a demo component... but 2 days later this demo component became the real component. I just showed today the end result to my customer and he turned to me and said... "this is more than I expected"... All of this is because Cook did cut about 70% of my work and provided me more ways to improve the usability of the component. The end result was 17 tables all related between than to generate a full dashboard for the travel agents. Thanks for Cook developers for such great tool. This component would not be possible to be done at short time with all the features in it
