gdpodesta Topic Author Offline Senior Member Posts: 75 Thank you received: 8	Before I found Cook, I'd been trying another component creator that had a very nice feature of using the current version of the project in the downloaded file such as com_mycomponent.0.9.1.tar.gz. I was able to keep those files as reference along the way while I worked on it. It seems quite easy to add, and was a very nice feature!

+1 - that would be a very nice feature - but, I think a nice to have, not essential.

I believe there's a lot of work going on with filters at the moment which is far more integral to the way COOK operates so I wouldn't anticipate this making it in very soon.
