Hello,

I'd like to know if the filters have some limitation in its reach to work properly.

There is the issue:

I have a table created with 2 fields. Both of them are FK. One of this FK has different fields, among of those there is another FK pointing to a different table.

TABLE A
field a1 - FK TABLE B
field a2 - FK TABLE C field c1 - FK TABLE D

I created a layout view from the TABLE A whit different fields of the different tables and I added to two filters. One of them is pointing to a field of TABLE B and it works, but the other one is pointing to a field of TABLE D and it's not working.

Some advice?

Thanks!

pd. this is under Cook V2.0

I detected that the problem is with the filter combo box, I tested the same field inside a Search filter and it works prefectly!

A bug?

This is because the filters are limited for the moment.

This is the reason why I am currently rewriting them.

Your problem is on the way to be fixed, but with the whole upgrade, so not for tomorrow.

Try to do it manually it is not a big deal, and a good exercice.

I found "cook" two days ago. Played around with it for a day and then within a day got rid of two legacy applications in IBM Lotus Domino Notes and replaced them with "cook". It was really easy. A piece of cake. Actually it was even easier than cooking. Cooking involves more work than developing with "cook". What can I say about "cook"? Great application great price for what it delivers great forum with a lot of information and fast responses active and friendly community fast forward moving development cycle So what should I say "Monsieur Le Cook"? Keep the good work going it will lead to success. Having become a paying member in the words of Edith Piaf may I say ..... non rien de rien ... je ne regrette rien. Vive La France.
