It's a commercial extension but here (just for the jcook community) there is a 80% discount coupon valid until the 15 october 2012:

Guess this is the very first component you install on a fresh joomla install.
I just feel there's a need for more explanations or a demo, just to understand exactly what i could do. Example, if i hack the com_contact, will it appear too ? or should i first choose with com_ it will follow ?
You get the idea of what i mean.
Thanks for the coupon anyway

Thanks for the reply VeCrea.
yes I know, a documentation or tutorial is a must, I just didn't have the time to do it :).
by the way I just modified the coupon, now it's 100% discount until the 15th october.
so for anyone interested, you can get it for free until the 15th october!

I'll do a quick guideline and some tutorials soon.

Hi

I tried to get your component with your component code and got a 100% discount code. However, I was redirected to paypal, who didn't accept a payment of 0$, so I tried changing it to 0.01. That went through. When I returned to your site I couldn't download anything and my orders said: You have no orders yet :-(

Also the flow of adding to cart - need to register - validate email - add to cart once again - pay is not optimal. You should consider loosing the validation part, and perhaps look at mijoshop as an alternative to virtuemart?? It's an opencart based solution and it's very powerfull.

Anyway, I would like to test your component, but wasn't able to :-(

Awards for the best Joomla app. This product is gonna win an award for this amazing job. Cook Self Service is the the best application from all over the Joomla universe ! It brings Joomla to a professional level really advanced for developers. It is a real fun to develop with it. The ACL part and security checks implementation are just... so much hours saved. I can now concentrate myself more on the design part and the creative works. Thank you so much. Guys I offer you all my congratulation ! Keep up the works because Joomla is needing it to increase the quality of extensions availables on the JED. I also learned a lot because I can see how to code at the proper place and I found all my answers reading the forum.
