My installed component on my Joomla website will not let me add new entries. The component works fine in the sandbox but does not work when installed on my Joomla site. The add button is there but does not call up the entry form

Using Joomla 2.5.14

Other tasks works ?

Javascript problem. maybe a conflict with something else.
Did you tried on fresh install of Joomla ?

- Have a look in javascript console.
- Try to load your component with
index.php? .... &tmpl=component
(just an idea to see if when loaded alone it works)

EDIT : Front or back ?
Do you have other things on your page such as modules ? using javascript ?
I think it is due to a third extension on your page.
Does the problem occurs on every list views ?
Coding is now a piece of cake

Awards for the best Joomla app. This product is gonna win an award for this amazing job. Cook Self Service is the the best application from all over the Joomla universe ! It brings Joomla to a professional level really advanced for developers. It is a real fun to develop with it. The ACL part and security checks implementation are just... so much hours saved. I can now concentrate myself more on the design part and the creative works. Thank you so much. Guys I offer you all my congratulation ! Keep up the works because Joomla is needing it to increase the quality of extensions availables on the JED. I also learned a lot because I can see how to code at the proper place and I found all my answers reading the forum.
