I am seeing the same thing. In any J3 or J3.2 project, current date and modified date are not appearing in views of either GRID or ITEMS. The database is storing values, the modification date is fine, but the creation date is completely wrong (showing 1999)

I have checked this in both sandbox and my own site. Dates do not show but are going into the database (created is wrong)

I have tried removing these objects from the table, removing the wizard objects and then re-adding with no success

Example project RT Announcments
Morgan Leecy MCSE

Novell / Linux
PHP. MYSQL, Apache, node.js
Coldfusion, JQuery, HTML5

I had the same issue with created dates - all showing 1999-11-30 for all records in a Joomls 3.2 project

I fixed it by changing the setting in the created date wizard from a date format of "inherit" to "yyyy-mm-dd"

I hope that helps

Would you be able to point out where this can be fixed manually for a component generated before the fix was put in place? I need to correct this without overwriting the component install.
Cheers
Andy

In your XML form file(s), remove format=""

It happens when format parameter is empty.
You can set the format you want or remove it, but not blank
