[FIXED] Component no longer building in any version "HELP"

Component no longer building in any version "HELP" 17 Jan 2014 20:28 #12038

I am having some major trouble with all my components.

- Does not create component when using sandbox in all versions and in admin and site views
- Corrupts and does not rebuild project and then the file list is blank all bar three folders.
- Not sure about downloading as I do not want to down load something that may not work at all



Have tried on all components of different sizes..


Please help as one of my projects is verging on being complete and I cannot test run until these problems are fixed

I really don't know what happens with your components.
I tried others accounts and it works well. Various components.

With your component, it is true : Not working in sandbox.
When I try to install in localhost, it works.
When I try the generated component (demoXXxx), on localhost it does not work. This operation only admin can do.
The error is :
"500 Installation unexpectedly terminated"

I am searching.

Ok. Thanks for looking into this. Very strange and I really hope it can be fixed for me. Cook is good , just a little glitch for some reason.

Fixed. In facts it was related to my recent upgrade.
Yes, the download was always working.

Still an issue to render the file tree (Rebuild project)
I am checking.

The last upgrade was containing lot of changes because I have cleaned all files containing errors for php 5.5. This is why this recent upgrade was not stable.

Although I found this tool some time ago I just started learning experimenting and building this first component on Monday and now on Thursday afternoon it's already online. Although I already had a working version done with another tool this is much easier to build and at the end you have the freedom to own your own component. Once you know how to use Cook you will boost your productivity as the learning curve is really moderate compared to many other tools.
