yasser Topic Author Offline New Member Posts: 16 Thank you received: 0	the problem in local live and sandbox i have table 'students' with foreign key from table "cities' which have foreign key from table "countries" and I have in student view a required combo box which he can chose city grouped by country and ajax is allowed when he save with out choosing city it saves city id value 0

Sorry for late answer.
When you furnish PTL, I can answer faster... (Project / Table / Layout)

Anyway.

It is working for me.

Did you tried to redefine the groupby property ?
Did you tried to rebuild the form field ?

This feature is working fine for me.
I think it is a bug in your project.
If you have changed the tables or the FK links wich reffers the groupby property, it should be broken.
Very common issue because the builder does not tell you when the links are broken due to a FK link deletion.
