Hi,
The file rename option is not working.I followed this document to set the folder in global configuration.

www.j-cook.pro/index.php/f/files

It creates the folders correctly but the file is missing.

This works

[IMAGES]

This doesn't work

[IMAGES]/com_files/images

Note: The above value creates the folders correctly but the file is missing in that folder.

Strange,
it works for me.

Do you have checked the permissions on that folder ?
Do you have an error message ?
Do you have an strange path with special caracters before your Joomla root ?
Last possibility is to try on fresh Joomla and last build.

The process is in classes/files/upload.php
Keep me up of more information, because for the moment, I cannot reproduce.


For the moment I leave it as a Ticket.

Does anybody else having this problem ?

Yes, that was the file permission issue.

Issue resolved.

Although I found this tool some time ago I just started learning experimenting and building this first component on Monday and now on Thursday afternoon it's already online. Although I already had a working version done with another tool this is much easier to build and at the end you have the freedom to own your own component. Once you know how to use Cook you will boost your productivity as the learning curve is really moderate compared to many other tools.
