So I have an IMAGE field, and I have restricted type to JPG / JPEF and PNG (by deleting all the others)

However I am alllowd to upload pretty much anything.. i.e PDF with no error

This happen on sandbox with any project.

Can you check enforcement on file / image uploads

Thanks

It's strange because i work a lot with Images in a lot of context ...
And it works fine for me with all my components.
I have made a new test right now with an image field that not allow '.bmp'

SANDBOX TEST :
An error has occurred.
0 This file extension ( bmp ) is not accepted, the accepted files are : gif, jpg, jpeg, png

IN reply to the testing by lioubov above

I have created (in sandbox) a field of IMAGE and removed all image typed form the list except JPG and PNG

These I have TICKED as allow

I have just been able to upload a PDF file with no errors (and save the record)

Observation 2: when I do cause an error (bye file being too large) the error message is massively invasive as it goes to a new page with a full screen error as opposed to a nice tool tip

You re right Morgan.

- my removed type files are still in the config windows (unckecked, but still here)
- I have an error message (show above) BUT the item is saved in the DB.

so, something has changed here, and must verified.

a thousand apologies!

I know it's holiday time, but this particulsr bug is a killer, if it could be looked at quite in new year, that would be awesome!

Hi first of all I'd like to say that J-Cook is a great tool - the best component builder I tried so far...
