[CLOSED] Table 'appartement.w8nby_trouwers_trouwers' doesn' 06 Aug 2012 06:01 #3019

- When i try to use the component in a menu entry (front end) I get the following message :
Table 'appartement.w8nby_trouwers_trouwers' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT `gebruiker` FROM w8nby_trouwers_trouwers WHERE id = 0
- When i use the freshly installed component in the back-end i works good

- When I look i PHPMyAdmin I see a table ' 'appartement.w8nby_trouwers'

- when I the create a table 'appartement.w8nby_trouwers_trouwers' everthing functions as expected.

Did I do something wrong while creating the component ?

It is because if the 'view name' = 'component name', the created table is shortest. It is a natural feature to simplify the db names.

I see it should issue in your case.

TODO :
in the builder change your 'collection view alias' OR the 'component alias'.
Coding is now a piece of cake

Amazing Tool !
And only tool I know that allows complete Scaffolding in terms of component creation. It really saves loads of time (actually much more than that). Simple architecture enables quick and painless changes at any time. Code is clean and consintent. It's just... what's the word... neat! :) Great work! You should definetely try this one!
