Hello.
Sorry for my English!
I built a componennt, it runs fine on Sanbox but when I download and install it on my website it does not work with this error message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function json_encode() in /mnt/137/sdc/b/d/s.bordas/administrator/components/com_supervision/dom/dom.php on line 342
The component is very simply: one table with 3 fields, one backend collection (for data grid) and one backend item (for form). The error is generated after datagrid new versus form.

When you regenerate your component, it is important to reuse ALL files. Maybe it is not your problem, but I precise for others, that we can't be responsibilized if you split your component and add some parts (coming from Cook too) afterwards. Coding is now a piece of cake

For starters it's just so easy to design an app in a way that I'm used to i.e. database first then views followed by customization. The fork system is pure brilliance from a developer standpoint as I can override things and still add and update my projects with minimal effort! Truly amazing to be able to build components in Joomla using incremental refinement without having to do everything by hand. Thanks for the great tool! I am so much more productive now than ever and I can't imagine building components any other way!!!!
