[SOLVED] Error Loading Component with Foreign Key 03 Dec 2012 14:42 #5785

Hi,

PTL = Stock List - Models - item

I think the foreign key from the table "Manufacturers" is messing this up somehow. On entering the item layout in the table "Models" I get an error:

"Error loading component: com_demo7073modelmanufacturer, 1"

The foreign key works in the item layout, so I can select the manufacturer but when I try to save it takes me to a blank screen (index.php).

Hope you can help!

Many thanks

When you added your foreign key to your form, did you select a field from the table to display in the combo?

Are you using ajax filtering? With a groupby?

What are your COOK config options?

Just got it working - it was because of my table naming conventions!

I feel silly now!

Many thanks :)

Time to create page: 0.060 seconds

Amazing Tool !
And only tool I know that allows complete Scaffolding in terms of component creation. It really saves loads of time (actually much more than that). Simple architecture enables quick and painless changes at any time. Code is clean and consintent. It's just... what's the word... neat! :) Great work! You should definetely try this one!
