I have created quite a number of components all similar in there build, however in the last two days, I have created two new ones and the filter in terms of 'date range' works fine, but the search box no longer searches. I have config set to 'Jquery, framework (included / not included), condensed, maximum and reduced.

Even if I send to sandbox, the search does not work, I have been through the model and classes and cannot see what the issue is.

I am not getting any errors at all, I am running Jquery 1.8.3. and using JCook 1, I have tried in v2.0 which works fine.

My projects are 'UserTimesheets' and 'IncidentReporting' - all of my other projects search absolutely fine.

Please advise.

[13:24:00.896] Use of getAttributeNode() is deprecated. Use getAttribute() instead. @ Xx.XXX.XXX.XX/valet/media/system/js/mootools-core.js:343

I am using jquery, so unsure why I am getting this error.

Hi @philm,

Sorry I missed this post!!!

OK, I haven't come across this issue however, from the error you posted, it would seem that a conflict between mootools/jquery are to blame possibly.

Have you tried multiple browsers? Do you get the same behaviour when you do?

Just posting this to @admin now to see what his thoughts are.

Hello,

I have the same problem. Even in the sandbox. Tested with the config option Mootools or JQuery.

THanks for your reply

Hi all,

If you are using jQuery in cook v1.5 then I believe that this is the issue. I was looking at a similar issue the other day where the only viable workaround is to upgrade to v2.0.

In all honesty, I think upgrading to version 2.0 beta is probably the best route regardless due to the fact that cook 1.5 will very soon be obsolete.

NB proceed with caution when upgrading!!! A number of the wizards have changed most notably, publishing. Basically, you will have to remove all instances of the publishing wizard, read them and almost certainly readd every instance of it in fields, layouts and filters.

I can't remember which others were changed in version 2 however, any issues arising out of upgrading will only be related to a wizard. Simply follow the above with any of the wizards that are problematic.

Hope it helps!

The j-cook project is one of the best of its kind and it is nice that we all try to contribute in little ways to make life easy for each other.
