Record ID 17 Jun 2013 06:05 #7503

Is there a quick way of displaying record ids in the collection pages?

Thanks

You must drag the Table node in the grid.
That's it.

If I open the page up with the collections on I can't see the separate tables

If I open the tabs with the collections on, (bottom left) then click on the view I want the record id to appear on I can't see the individual tables to select to drag on on the grid. If I click on the tables tab, I can't see the collection page. I can only see one tab at a time.

I would send you a screen shot but my project now comes up with when I refresh files

Fatal error

Resource not found
Model Item : task
Id : 2

So it looks like I need to rebuild the project anyway

By node, do you mean the tabs at the bottom, that move up when clicked (TABLES / PAGES)

Thanks Steve

Time to create page: 0.101 seconds

For starters it's just so easy to design an app in a way that I'm used to i.e. database first then views followed by customization. The fork system is pure brilliance from a developer standpoint as I can override things and still add and update my projects with minimal effort! Truly amazing to be able to build components in Joomla using incremental refinement without having to do everything by hand. Thanks for the great tool! I am so much more productive now than ever and I can't imagine building components any other way!!!!
