Well this is good news i guess.
I'm yet to get and understand what it changes, because there were many things asked by Cook users and FOF was never mentioned, but i trust you have found this usefull enough to put it on top of the priorities list. Also hopes it will allow faster dev of new features.
I trust and respect you, and your work

I don't know where this fits in my life at the moment, but anything by the dev of Akeeba has to be a good thing.

Whereas I cant get as excited as Chef about this as I have zero idea what it does or its capabilities (I suppose a look at Akeeba Subs 5 which is bullt totally on FoF will help), I am glad to see how much love and attention is going into the builder, and for that I am over the moon!

When I have finished my two ongoing projects I will switch this on and have a play!

To VeCrea, yes I wanted to explain...

The way I have to build the N:M relation is not handled by Joomla.

It creates me a problem for 'inventing' the names conventions and coding style.
So I have preferred to dig in what FOF propose with relations and write something that uses the same naming conventions in the vars.
The good thing is FOR YOU !!

So basicaly, N:M are on the way now, and will be released also for N:M in FOF.

FOF is expiremental because it is just a first step-in.
I would like to custom the builder to create a pure FOF component (limited in features, but educational)
For the moment with this step in, I try to support the same functionalities that the present on a Cook basic release.

As I said before, now comes the priority for N:M and even if FOF experimental stays in this way.
It is just a presentation for education purposes. It is gonna evolve.

FoF is to Joomla as Angular.JS was to HTML5, taking out masses of code for clean simple scripts whilst achieving superior results

Sounds exciting, and look forward to trying it out when I have time

For now (short term), I have to stick to the old fashion ways to make sure I get projects finished!
