Clone project tool is a MUST 26 Mar 2012 05:38 #1727

Hi there,
the cook service is a great tool! I like it. I understand it's still "work in progress" but using it, I really feel the need of a CLONE PROJECT tool.

with a clone project tool, I can clone the project when it is fully working and tested, and then add new options and functionalities, without be worried to destroy the previous work done.
Often it happens that when there is a bug/error in the cook service itself or in the cook "recipe" I wrote, and it's not possible to reload the sample data in the component for the DEMO testing, I have firstly to find the bug/error and then write again all the sample data by hand, so every test (obviously depending by the complexity of the component you are cooking) needs not less than 10 mins, because I have to re-create the same scenario, adding the sample data by hand.

I hope there is a workaround or a new tool to manage that.
regards.

I understand, and for the moment it is not in preparation.

The clone functionality will first be for generated components, and after for the builder.
I take note and understand.
Coding is now a piece of cake

Great UX great performance and definitely a time saver. It only took me 10 minutes of playing around before purchasing a subscription and right now I just want to throw more money at you! I just started a new project and after just 4h I can already tell it probably saved me several days of work. I'm building a wholesale ordering system with sales rep management. I have not looked at the code yet but so far: impressive.
