Hi All,
I'm looking at a Basic DB Component for Joomla.
I'm wanting a DB that i can enter data into for keeping logs of Training Sessions that we run.
I need the following tables:
** Members
** Other Services
** Other Stations
** Topics
** Training Session

Training Session is the Main Table where fields from the others are linked into it.
The Members Table will be completely separate from the Joomla Members Table..

I have created a basic thing within COOK (Fantastic Program that has allowed for me to get further than i ever have with creating my own Component) But have been unable to get fields to link up correctly :blink: ..

For starters it's just so easy to design an app in a way that I'm used to i.e. database first then views followed by customization. The fork system is pure brilliance from a developer standpoint as I can override things and still add and update my projects with minimal effort! Truly amazing to be able to build components in Joomla using incremental refinement without having to do everything by hand. Thanks for the great tool! I am so much more productive now than ever and I can't imagine building components any other way!!!!
