Hello admin and all respected members.
I am facing an error recently started occurring is: Mime type not valid (application/octet-stream), allowed Mimes are image/bmp - image/gif - image/jpeg - image/png :
Impossible to upload file : imagename.jpg

I am getting error while creating new item with uploading image.
I have tried to resolve this issue but could not. Please tell me if anyone knows that how to fix it.

admin Offline Administrator Chef Posts: 3711 Thank you received: 986	It is a classic. You are using 'File' type I guess.. When you use a data type 'Image', then some mimes are automatically defined by default. If you are using 'File' data type, it is sligly diferent (mostly nothing) and the mimes are not defined by default. Open the properties and define them. Does it helped you ? Actually somehow this error is occurring while this component has been running perfectly since last year. Do I need to change code or something else? If we can fix that thing from code, then please guide. Thanks
