Because you must define an form item layout, in the same client side (front / back) than your collection layout.


To create a FORM layout :
  • Click the + button in the layout management.
  • Choose item layout (in the same client - front / back)
  • If you choose a front layout, there is no form by default
  • Drop a form brick in your layout.
Coding is now a piece of cake
