The update facility of components is very nice, and sometimes useful. But when I go into production with a new extension it is always a fresh start.

How to I remove the 'versions' within a component, i.e so it doesnt have to install anything from the updates folder and is just a single shot install. I have tried flush dataset but that just appears to be the data (as expected)
