I have been trying to work with decimals in my current project but the config interface does not want to play with me. I have asked it nicely to be a bit more compliant but I am afraid it doesn't like me at all. Admin, can you ask it for me? Deep down, I'm really not a bad person.

Not sure if the validation is working - but I'm not too familiar with using Decimals - more Floats.

Yes, I can make some changes but can't save at all. The "incorrect" appears and prevents any saving.

Are you using Firefox?

Also works for me with Chrome 51.0.2704.103m.

It may seem silly, but perhaps try to enter in the Precision first before the Scale. (Enter the 10 first - and then the 6).

If I do it the other way round (Scale 6 first then Precision 10) - I get the "incorrect" warning. (But it still saves for me).

I will review this very soon, maybe next monday.

EDIT : You need to fill the 2 entries, or nothing. But not half.
You can see the 10 as a placeholder, but I think if you put 6 as scale, you need to write 10 in the precision (over the placeholder).

Ok, you were right, when changing the precision the "Incorrect" warning appears. Only after updating the "scale" does it disappear and the form saves.

Maybe a prefill would be preferable to a placeholder on this interface because if the user changes anything on that form it does not save even if they are happy with "10, 2"
