I have asked it nicely to be a bit more compliant but I am afraid it doesn't like me at all. Admin, can you ask it for me? Deep down, I'm really not a bad person. organicwebs Offline Premium Member Chris Posts: 133 Thank you received: 21	Yes Firefox 47.0.1 - Win10 Also works for me with Chrome 51.0.2704.103m. It may seem silly, but perhaps try to enter in the Precision first before the Scale. (Enter the 10 first - and then the 6). If I do it the other way round (Scale 6 first then Precision 10) - I get the "incorrect" warning. (But it still saves for me). Just call me Chris The following user(s) said Thank You: vlemos

Important bug with floats (same problem than you describe here) etc.. For me, the decimal declaration works. What says your SQL table declaration ? Coding is now a piece of cake

admin Offline Administrator Chef Posts: 3711 Thank you received: 986	For me it is working. Do you have a javascript error ? EDIT : You need to fill the 2 entries, or nothing. But not half. You can see the 10 as a placeholder, but I think if you put 6 as scale, you need to write 10 in the precision (over the placeholder). Ok, you were right, when changing the precision the "Incorrect" warning appears. Only after updating the "scale" does it disappear and the form saves.

Maybe a prefill would be preferable to a placeholder on this interface because if the user changes anything on that form it does not save even if they are happy with "10, 2"

Thanks All for your input on this one, was not intuitive or maybe I need a drink :woohoo:

I found "cook" two days ago. Played around with it for a day and then within a day got rid of two legacy applications in IBM Lotus Domino Notes and replaced them with "cook". It was really easy. A piece of cake. Actually it was even easier than cooking. Cooking involves more work than developing with "cook". What can I say about "cook"? Great application great price for what it delivers great forum with a lot of information and fast responses active and friendly community fast forward moving development cycle So what should I say "Monsieur Le Cook"? Keep the good work going it will lead to success. Having become a paying member in the words of Edith Piaf may I say ..... non rien de rien ... je ne regrette rien. Vive La France.
