2.5 beta test build
Just a heads up for some who may have the same issue when installing

I Just set a date field...
- dd-mm-yyyy format
- set the default value in the properties box to 01-01-2013 (to match the expected format)
- downloaded and installed the component
- was greeted by a install error "Invalid default value for 'date_start' ...."

The Solution
the default date is set at the database level
The default value in the properties box needs to be in the format of yyyy-mm-dd
