SCENARIO
You want to validate user input on one of your fields but there's NO Regular Expression (RegEx) built in to COOK to suit your needs
SO HOW DO YOU ADD YOUR OWN? Thanks to COOK, it's SIMPLE!!!
  1. In the Tables tab of the builder, click on the Properties for your chosen field
  2. In the Validator section of the popup, click select Custom
  3. Give your new validation rule a descriptive & unique name (NO SPACES OR SPECIAL CHARS RECOMMENDED)
  4. Type or paste your Regular Expression into the Regular exp. field
That's it!

Although I found this tool some time ago I just started learning experimenting and building this first component on Monday and now on Thursday afternoon it's already online. Although I already had a working version done with another tool this is much easier to build and at the end you have the freedom to own your own component. Once you know how to use Cook you will boost your productivity as the learning curve is really moderate compared to many other tools.
