Hey,

I've been testing your app for a few days now and I must admit, it's one of the best! In fact I've already used it to create one quite complicated component that was put into production in less than 16 hours. But about that in another post.

For now , I decided to contribute something to this project, so here are 2 minor bugs I've encountered:

I) Problems with grid fields after editing a toolbar.
  1. create new Layout (backend, collection)
  2. add a Toolbar brick
  3. add a Grid brick
  4. add some fields to the grid
  5. edit toolbar button and assing layout to it

Problem:

After following this steps in a given order, you will be unable to edit fields properties (no popup window) in the grid.

Way to solve this issue is to close your browser and start j-cook again

II) Sortable checked
  1. create new Layout (backend, collection)
  2. add a grid or let it generate automatically by saving empty layout project
  3. add some fields to the grid

Minor problem:

Noticed when generating component for Jooma 1.5. Property "sortable" in all field properties is checked - which is not true. After generating the compoment fields in the grid fields won't be sortable.

Freakin' Awesome!!! J-Cook is simply awesome - whether you're a highly experienced developer or complete novice whether you're building a small inventory component or a complete community solution! The beauty comes from a fast slick and reliable platform that readily provides developers with everything they'll need to build the backbone of a solid and secure component with wizards for authoring access publishing aliasing created/modified by dates... you name it COOK provides it! J-Cook really surpasses all of the 'competition' as far as MVC tools are concerned! Try love it and get cooking!
